Creditfix - UK's Leading IVA Provider Reviews

I rarely leave bad reviews but Creditfix have gone from 5 star to 1. I've had to change jobs resulting in a review to reduce my payments. 6 months and 4 submissions later they've still not done anything, except offer to add to the length of time I'm paying. I'm so tempted to just go bankrupt as I will be paying until I retire at this rate. They just want people signed up to get more money. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY EXTENSIONS WITH THIS COMPANY. You'll end up with a 10 year IVA!

Was called last month and they said they may be able to help me. I thought it was a great idea the guy on the phone was really nice. I was really honest and said what I needed help with. He said I would be approved and didn’t need to pay anything (bills) that month that they will be in contact with creditors and so on. The past month I’ve been chasing them about paper work so emailed someone yesterday just to be told that they didn’t know about a piece of information that I have already told multiple people in different times including during the assessment. Now been told I don’t qualify.. so annoying and so stressful! Now Im in more trouble for missing a month worth of payments…

Don't do it.This is my third year in an IVA with credit fix. My original debt was £11,193 and now I'm paying back £13,050. I have tried to contact them and they keep putting you through to different departments and nobody can actually answer my query. I'm not happy at all. Customer service is rubbish. Not helpful what so ever. When I first started it appears to have been miss leading now. My original agreement was to pay £5100 at £85 per month, over the years its gone up and up.Do not go in to an IVA try and sort it out with creditors yourself! Worst mistake I ever did.

I am over half way through my IVA with Credit Fix. The last review came when I did extra hours during Covid which inflated my income and therefore my estimated repayment. After contacting you, it was reviewed again and the payment was reduced to an amount I can afford as my hours/pay fluctuates from pay period to pay period.Thankyou so much for your help, it has really eased my mind. I am now budgeting more sensibly.

I've been with credit fix since December 2020. And been paying them £140.30 every month to pay my creditors. Only to find out today that they have NOT been paying them. I called to speak with a manager. But was refused. I've now filled in a disputes form to claim all my money back that credit fix has taken. Ever since I've been with them all they have done is ignore all contact from me. I knew something was NOT right. They are THIEVES.

When initially signing up I agreed to pay £80 a month for five years. I changed my job and purchased a car so that I could commute to work they increased my monthly payment by £20. Not a problem. Due to covid I lost my job and straight away got a new role and as the salary wasn’t as high as the previous one they changed my payment to £75 then added on another 16 months on to the contract!I then just got a message a couple of days ago in regards to cost of living they recommend to decrease by payments to £62 and then add on another 16 months!!No chance in hell, I’d rather struggle then let these cowboys keep amending my payment plan.Biggest piece of advice I can give DO NOT sign up with an IVA and just get payment plans in place with the existing creditors as these people feel they can do what they want when they want!

Been with credit fix now 6 years and 2 months, I called up for my account to be passed to closers team over 2 months ago after many calls and lies, from you “have one payment left” “you still have 4 years left” it still isn’t sorted. This now remains on my credit report and I still after this long can’t do nothing. If this carry’s on I will be seeking legal help and claiming all my money back. These guys have not been paying creditors neither. Stay well clear from these cowboys.

I think, my experience with creditfix has been very great from onset. I was not initially sure I would help from them fully knowing how much I owe in debt, but the consolidation of my debts through creditfix has been me hope of being able to adhere to the commitment of paying at least part of my debts.Thank you creditfix.Oliver

Don't be fooled by the 'helpful' and 'friendly' staff at first.I've been with CreditFix around 2 years now. Everything was great at first £85 a month and everything was sorted. I had a pay rise at work and was told that because I earn more my monthly payment will have to go up which again, absolutely fine but, the problems began here...You'd have thought that if you're earning/paying more the term of the IVA would shorten but in fact the price of it was put up by around 1k meaning the initial sum I was given in which my debts would be cleared had risen, not really sure how to validate that but, I continued regardless as I thought this would be the best option for me financially.Over the course of the last year I have contacted customer service on numerous occasions to discuss my IVA... here are a few things I was denied.A payment break due to sickness/leave from workA payment break down of where my money was goingA change of payment date to better suit my financial situationI eventually received an annual report of where my payments to CreditFix were going to find that only 4 of my lenders were actually being paid and that a majority of then had not submitted 'POD' (proof of debt) which leads me to ask the question, what the hell is going on?Again contacting customer service leads me nowhere, I am denied the opportunity to speak to my Case Manager and I feel like I'm kind of left in limbo with the whole situation. From a company so eager to help you "get back on track"... A company so eager to take your payments because "the lenders need paying".... I've paid over 2k to CreditFix and they've paid around £170 of that to my Lenders. Absolute Scam company and will be looking to dispute/cancel ASAP.Taking control of your own finances is a much better option than using this scam company.

I wouldn’t normally leave a bad review , however I am so frustrated with Credit Fix’s lack of pro activity and lack of response to emails.I settled my IVA in April 2020, I am still waiting for the closure of my IVA to take place, despite numerous calls and emails to profess this and understand what’s going on, I get fobbed off over the phone with the advisors using previous updates as current updates and when it comes to email, they just don’t reply at all.I’d like to apply for a mortgage but as the IVA is still open despite paying a settlement figure 10 months ago, it’s not an option and the lack of progression is now having a major impact on my personal life.Maybe I’ve dealt with people who are not particularly helpful but as it stands I am so angry with the lack of support since paying the settlement figure.
