One of the worst investment decisions I've ever made! Before investing I looked through all the previous investments and saw people defaulting on items like jewelry and cars, this made sense, so when I invested I only went for property and land, who would default on these things, right? Wrong! bad, bad, bad, they state "6 month" loan, that's roughly 194 days, my money has been stuck in their for 294 days, I doubt I'll see it again for another 294. Do not give your money to this company!
Do not use funding secure unless you want to lose money. 90% of their loans go bad after a while. They would probably give my pet cat a loan in exchange for a tin of tuna.
Seriously risky! I advise you to investigate what has gone wrong with their art loans before lending here. (Although if you are a borrower, this could be your ideal organisation.)
Don't let the name or bonuses offered by this company fool you. There is nothing secure about this company or the loans it gives.
Avoid any company that is called funding! The only thing they fund is their own bank account.
They have now gone in administration. I must agree with the prior comment that the IQ/experience of people running this cowboy business was pretty low. You ran a fintech pawnshop business but didn't actually hold the assets in physical custody; how exactly were the loans secured then ?! (thinking of certain paintings here). I sensed the poor management early on hence kept my exposure relativley low. Great idea, lousy servicing, now let us see if we'll get anything back from the administrators...
Do not invest in funding secure! Assetz, growth street or loanpad or crowdproperty or lendinvest or even landbay are superior and will look after your investment. The people working at funding secure make homer Simpson look like einstein.
WARNING DO NOT USE!!! I have lost £1000 and have £1500 in unpaid loans for over 2 years. Very risky is the words I would choose.
I have 9 loans that are overdue (active for more than 500 days). I'm now taking this to the Financial Ombudsman.
You are never gonna see your money again
