I have used Pay Assist service for a short term credit payment to spread the cost for my car repair to Audi that was 6 months ago in the year 2021 and to pay the amount of £1100 and was accepted and paid this fully with no issue.Today in March 2022 when I applied to spread the cost for my car servicing with Pay Assist now they are asking for bank statements, my IVA letter to confirm that the IVA Company accepts for me to take a short term loan on credit payment and to fill out an Income and Expenditure document for a cost of £463. I have sent all the documents and have constantly been calling the customer service that has been helpful however the application was still undecided from morning to afternoon. Very disheartening this time. They said they will try to process the application tomorrow and this may take the whole day again. In addition the garage has been calling me several occasions to check with my pay assist application and even they were shocked to hear that is happening. They said in the 8 years that they have used Pay Assist to help their customers this is the first time that they are hearing this. Even my IVA Company said this is quite very strange for Pay Assist to do this. Now i do not know is - Do I cancel the repair service of my car and then for the application for Pay assist to be approved when the repair is cancelled. Then I will have to book the repair again and Pay Assist to again go with the same process of asking bank statement, IVA letter, Income + Expenditure document - then this service is going downhill very quickly in my opinion. It's time to set up my own Pay assist Company and not to be rigid like this. Awful experience to use Pay Assist the second time.

Used these a couple of times to help with big Bill's which weren't budgeted for.With pay days misaligning in January I emailed to ask if they could change the day and they did, not realising I had miscalculated dates by two days I had to email back to ask them to move it again, and they did without any trouble at all.Very highly recommended.

have used payment assist for years at pentagon rochdale and will continue to do so they are a great help towards easing the pain of costs to keeping vehicle on road and means you don't need to buy cheap parts and tyres but can splash out abit and spread the cost with NO interest Thank You PA

A great scheme which I have used a few times to help with garage bills. There is a minimal interest charge for the service but not too steep. Staff are friendly and helpful as well.

I can't get over how quick and easy it was to purchase my beautiful bedroom fitment today. 12 months interest free means I won't be worrying about extra expenses when I eventually move house!

Total fly by night company.Be aware they took my final payment and sent me an email saying it failed. Even though the money had left my account.Clearly a shake down in attempt to stack on more charges.Avoid these sharks at all cost.
