When taking a loan with Provident you need proof of income ect to make sure you can afford to pay it back,your given all details in loan agreement and if your happy you sign it,, but now every body wants a refund and looking forward to a lump sum of cash but they have shot them selfs in the foot because Xmas not far away and the loan you get from Provident to cover it like you do every year wont be there,no more loans ,at least you have your refund to pay for it ??????? or did you blow the lot on a 200 inch TV which wont be insured and will be knocked over by the kids,be alot of skint people this Xmas

Provident is the worse loan company i have had told i get paid the 23rd of each month the rep was happy about that but never told about the business of 5 weeks and then you recieve a letter about arrears absolutely a joke wouldn't recommend to anyone

I applied for a loan initially but I decided against it after their APR was 1000%+, then someone turned up at my house!!!! How is that not a breach of GDPR? I’m going to be reporting them.

After many years of being happy with my agent ..she then left due to changes in the firm. .since then it's been 'hit and miss' as to Wether or not somebody came. .dispite making prior arrangements ..when a agent came it was someone different each time ..or they would just 'turn up' once at 8 AM! !! and once wearing a lanyard displaying PROVIDENT whilst walking up my Avenue! !!!..calling me 'Hun' and not keeping arranged times is just not good enough. .I will be finishing my loan by phone payment Wether Provident like it or not ..!
