Took a loan at this company, paid off and they sold it onto another debt collection agency! Still waiting 8 month after the fact. Customer service is shocking here. Just be careful guys, this company will bleed you dry then offer you pennies to brush it under the carpet. They pray on the vulnerable then tell you about other customers. I would think this is breaking data protection laws, you should not be passing on other peoples information. Disgusting scam company. GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE AND STAY CLEAR!!
This company is awful. I have taken a loan with them and never missed a payment! my credit score has gone up by at least 100 points and not ONCE has my payments been reduced. live chat is non-existent. there is no number to call customer service AND they do not respond to emails. absolute let down.
I had a £2000 loan with this company , payed it off didn't miss a payment , when I applied for a new loan was refused, i needet it for xmas, very bad company!!!
Their reward loan is a scam! Took it with the promise the interest will drop, when my credit score goes up, ever since the interest rate should be reduced at twice! When asked why didn't, the answer, they see a different credit score than me!!!So basically we can go through the whole term without any changes, because of this excuse they have. Of course I can't see what they see, but I have to believe that they can't see any changes.***Their answer of this below just the proof that I was written about. By the way according to Equifax my credit score is up, long time ago, ever since multiple three monthly review should done by livelend and yet no rate drops!!!
I don’t even have a loan with this terrible loan lenders & they still stolen money right out my bank - leaving me and my 3 children with £13 to live off till the end of the month! I made this clear to the representative I managed to get to call me back - Were completely unwilling to refund the stolen money and were made aware on several occasions they have left me with £13 for myself and 3 young children to love off till the end of the month! My ex partner had a loan with them, he was removed off the joint bank account, all direct debits cancelled, he has been paying them for the past 5 months by other means, the one month they can’t get money out of him they decide to use the previous payment method that last worked, my details, Barclays had opened a case as this company legally has no right to save my payment details. They don’t care where they get their money from, they just want their money, like a loan shark they are happy to leave me with no money, the woman from Barclays was very helpful but also disgusted at the same time, she said they know they are in the wrong but still they are making the bank go the hard way round and forcing Barclays into claiming the money back through a fraud investigation - they can refund this same day, but have forced a single mother of 3 children with £13 to go the hard was around into getting the £131 back - being out of work that’s a lot of money for me right now - This company is unethical and fraudulent, my ex even contacted them to refund the payment, he said the woman was just “moaning his account will be classed as a missed payment, and he will still have to pay them anyway” not bothered that I’m left with £13 for a month to survive on! so they have chosen to force barclays to claim the money back taking weeks! This company aims their loans at people with poor credit, what sort of loan company dosent have a phone number or call centre!!! You can only email and web chat!
I have had nothing but a great experience with Livelend, lowest rate, approved within minutes and payments where reduced after a couple of months. the website is also really good and user friendly. 5 star.
I took a loan out with this company. They could not set up a direct debit as this is something the company was not facilitating at the time so it was manual payments only. Because I got payed before the due date I was paying before the due date and this was going down as an overpayment rather than a payment. This is something I was not told when enquiring about my direct debit. After I had made a complaint to remove the late payments and just act as a payment as it was not payed late just before they refused.Would avoid the company at all cost of your trying to build your credit and save for a mortgage like myself! I would not even give them a 1 star.
**IF I COULD GIVE 10 STARS I HONESTLY WOULD!!**I came across LiveLend whilst looking for loans on my credit score app. I wanted to take out a large loan to cover my car finance and another loan I had so it would make my repayments cheaper. I was very sceptical, no fees for extra payments, missed payments, early settlement etc and the fact that the rate would go down by 2% if my credit score increased by 25 points in 3 months, it seemed way too good to be true. LiveLend pre approved me for a rate of 11.2% which was much better than the 13.9% my bank offered me so I went for it. I have had my LiveLend loan for 1 year and 4 months now and have made lots of extra payments with no fees and my rate has dropped twice in that time bringing it to 7.2% at the moment. Being able to access my loan anytime online has helped me to stay focused to pay it off early and to easily see what is outstanding and how long I have left. If I had kept all my debt as it was, it would of taken me 6 years to pay off. By the end of this year I will of had my loan for 2 years and I will be debt free!! 😁😁I'm not a bot, or anyway associated with LiveLend, this is my honest review about a company I found when I was struggling being a working mum and trying to get my finances in order.
Took a loan out 18 months ago, maintaining repayments and clearing other debts has resulted in lower monthly instalments as credit score has increased. Only had to speak to their Customer Service team once to change my payment date and the staff are really friendly!I'd recommend their services to anyone that needs a loan although saving up the money yourself is always the best option :p
forget thinking your rate is going to drop anytime throughout the loan. The score they use is not even the same as Equifax by the time you are due for any rate reduction they have squeezed most interest out of you. My advice only use them if your in a rut. Make as much overpayments as possible dont rely on rate reductions. Also online portal for overpayments is terrible calculations are wrong and unless your a financial wizkid you wont see they are trying to squeeze interest at every level. Happy to go to ombudsmen to get this investigated as nearly had a wrong missed payment applied even when I made overpayments.
