They deserve no starts from me to be honest. To all people going through the same thing. I've been using monese for 4 years now. then they decided to block my account for no reason at all... all a bunch of useless acts of a good service to their account users. I've been calling, emailing and reaching out to them on different social platforms they've got consistently but no satisfying results. a member of staff called Lisa gave me a call back a month later i thought she was going to sort things out but the phone lasted 5min and 8sec before she hung on me whilst I was speaking. I found that so rude. I want to do something about this as I've still got money sitting in my account. the most annoying thing is not being able to do something about it. The question what do I do now?
How can you even complain about this magnificent prepaid card system? Honest to God, I've been using it for 5 or 6 years now and it never happened the things I'm seeing in the comments. Have no idea what the people is talking about but, nah, they never put a hold on anything and they never blocked any account that I know of .... and that's just being be, 2 years ago reviving more than 15 k on it and still going strong
Please don't open a Monese account, I opened one about two years ago. I updated my app eight months ago, and I can't enter my app now due to blacked me. They called me after ten emails. And they couldn't solve my problem. I sent lots of emails, but just have received nothing. I called a lot them but no answer. Customer Service is rubbish
DO NOT USE THIS BANK! My poor son has been scammed of £500. They won't release the money unless he provides them with £200!! Some rubbish about gift vouchers being sent to them. My young son doesn't have £200 as he has just been scammed of all the money he does have. There are terrible, immoral people out there that should be ashamed of themselves!!!
These people are fool . Never trust them with your money. According to the reviews, DO NOT OPEN AND ACCOUNT WITH THEM. They are scammers and rejected fault on others people. They even put a marker on my boyfriend's name on Cifas without his knowledge and when he found out, they told him that his account was use to do fraudulous activities. He Swear to me that he never opened an account with them and we found out that it was his ex all behind. Even that, they cannot admit that they are scammers and their system is useless. As I'm writing this text, an account was opened yesterday by the same girl with someone's identity. Completely USELESS THESE PEOPLE. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM
To all people looking to take Monese legally to court. File for a motion for seize of trade in UK territory I have do it and it’s waiting approval by court. This people don’t even bother to return money to customers after a fraudulent transaction for £1500. People report them to the Financial Conduct Authority and Ombudsman Services. They will help you close this ban for good in the UK. They are a fraudulent money service and have continuously broken what is stipulated in their contract in order to trade in the UK
The worst online banking I've ever met. First they blocked my account and I 3(!) I couldn't get a response from the support service for a month - what's the reason? But then the funniest thing, I decided to close my account myself - from June 2021 (almost 9 months!) Their support doesn't answer me how to do it! They wrote to do it myself through the application, but access to the application is blocked )). In general, the circus and kindergarten. I don't recommend it.
After 4 years with a very normal account I get this email asking me to asking to submit a lot of sensitive personal data, but no happy with it, they ask for more (original documents) or they threat to cancel my account. Many BIG companies are hijacked by scammers and abusive staff who use the profile info for resell or criminal acts. If this was a serious "compliance" team, they could use their name, a contact or they would simple have enough with everything they ask the first round. This should make anyone aware and to stay away from a company that allows this to happen. Wise, Revolut (also free) and many other are not infected with this kind of suspicious "compliance" staff. The lack of live support is yet another reason to stay away from Monese.
“ SCAM ALERT “ i dont understand How can this company even exist .Clearly they have no customer Service if any urgent problem occurs. Called them at 4PM ,kept me on hold for an hour and then a answering mesg comes up our timings are till 5 Pm ???? Seriously , block the account for no reson and havnt even mesgd or said anything about the balance i had on there ,DO NOT OPEN AND OCCOUNT WITH THESE LOTS , theyll take away ur money
Account locked 8 months ago with 2300 GBP. Sent a lot of emails, I got tottaly ignored. Support simply don't exists. Keep you money away from this burglars.
