    Coming off the back of 2 failed conveyances, the thought of going through the process was very off putting. Not to mention the extortionate rise in house prices since I started looking to buy about 2 years ago.Wayhome looks like a sustainable, Sharia-compliant model to purchasing a house. But the true pull for me was how much of the team took care of me during the process. Both Victoria and Nadia have been so helpful during my search for a new home, and I have don't have to worry about chasing anyone up to ensure exchange or completion.Victoria was very clear about how the process worked, so I am under no disillusions about how the next few years could play out financially, And Nadia has been very patient over the last 5-6 months or so while I've been viewing pretty much every house in the Manchester area .I would recommend everyone consider Wayhome when looking to by a property - It may not work for everyone, but I see no reason why most would not benefit from it

    Good way to buy a home for those with a small deposit. Great supportive staff. Only negative is that there should be a phone number on the website to contact the company, but their instant messaging feature on the website is really good as they reply back quickly.Jude has been very helpful throughout the whole process and I would like to thank her for all the support.

    Our landlord decided to put our home on the market at the end of our tenancy contract. We had been saving for this eventuality for two years, and had a relatively decent deposit and combined annual income.Sadly for us, the house was valued higher than expected, meaning that we were only able to get a mortgage that would be about 10% short of the necessary value. Our income is also complex, with a combination of sole trader income and Ltd company directorship so buying in the traditional way looked to be tricky.I was already aware of Wayhome, and had been following progress since prior to their launch. Shared ownership without the restriction to new builds was hugely appealing.In our tricky situation we began looking into Wayhome further, reading through the FAQ’s with a fine-tooth comb for ‘the catch’. Well the truth is, there isn’t one. Sure, there are small restrictions on what you can do with your home that wouldn’t be in place if you purchased with a mortgage - but it’s huge amount better than living in the hands of a landlord.The staircasing option is fantastic, being able to buy an additional 5% a year means that the end goal of complete ownership gets closer.We are now in the final stages of buying a new home. Not the house that we thought we would be buying, but a better one, in our home village where we want our children to grow up. Thanks to Wayhome, we are able to fulfil our dream and have the perfect home for our family despite the fact that house prices have increased so dramatically in the last couple of years.A special mention goes to Nadia, who has guided us through the entire process, answered our endless ridiculous questions and had been an absolute pleasure to work with!

The unique points to Wayhome and why we chose to go down this route are no interest, no mortgage, and no debt.     Great new initiative to purchase a property that otherwise would have been out of reach. Staff are really friendly and really helpful. Special mention to Heather, who has been super supportive and gone above and beyond to get us into the position we are today. Hopefully due to exchange and complete on our property imminently. With being a new company there are some drawbacks, this being the actual buying process is a little clunky and the solicitor’s Wayhome use appearing to be a little slow to respond and act on information provided, which has resulted in some delays in the process, but the only way to improve and learn is through more transactions and feedback and Wayhome are very open to the feedback and understand that the whole process of buying a property is stressful and are always willing to listen and explain steps and stages throughout the process. And the feedback provided to date. Very happy so far, other than a slight frustration with the delays , but hopefully be in our new home by the end of the month and very thankful for the opportunity that Wayhome has presented and allowed us to achieve. Would recommend for sure, and I am sure the more properties they buy the more efficient the process will become.
