Even tho after reading all the bad reviews. I managed to get hold of the company about my car insurance. I had a gentleman named David on the phone, helping me with my account. He was really helpful and managed to even let me know I was due a refund for over paying my account. I have never had a problem with the company for the 2 years of using them.

In short, awful! In a way I'm glad I'm not the only one but I'm furious that so many people are having issues with creation! I thought they were fine since curry's use them, I should've done more research. Like many, I took out a small amount of credit (<£500) and opted to pay in installments. Not only is the website very awkward to log into (can't count the number of error messages I've had), I'm also having issues with my direct debit. At the time of taking out credit, I set up a direct debit for approx £50 p/m. Unbeknownst to me, when my Jan DD was paid which is very clearly shown on my bank statement, it was returned by creation into my account. A few days later, I got an email saying that I hadn't paid my monthly installment and I was charged an additional £30. Now I don't earn a lot so that extra £30 is painful. This happened again for my Feb installment so I've paid it manually however since the returned money isn't actually in my account immediately, I'm £100 down right now. Not only that but when I press "pay outstanding monthly amount" it automatically calculates how much I need to pay that month. Great right? Well once it's paid, there's a random 76p that I owe. I am 1000% sure I paid the correct monthly amount as it showed that my outstanding balance would be 0 once paid. This has also happened twice. Then I get a letter to say that I have 76p outstanding in my account (seriously?) I pay it and then it says I owe ANOTHER 76p. It's absolutely beyond ridiculous, I urge anyone to avoid taking out credit with creation. I'm so ashamed to even be in this situation, I wish I could pay the full amount and be free but I can't. I'm so angry that many others have similar issues.

AVOID!!! worst finance company I’ve ever dealt with. Firstly they sent me a letter saying I had cancelled my direct debit when I never. Went to pay manually on my account and conveniently the payment service wasn’t working. Then I get a letter saying if I didn’t pay immediately I would get charged a £30 fee. Went to pay the day I received the letter and they had already added the £30 fee. Not responding to any of my emails yet quick to send 10 texts, and 3 letters within a week!!! Will be putting a complaint in to the financial ombudsman and never using this atrocious company again.

Just submitted this feedback directly to Creation… [update: second call was finally answered after 57 minutes… agent was very friendly and efficient, and closed my account with no questions asked… didn’t even ask why… bizarre]Called to report a lost card. Was on hold listening to music for 50 minutes. Suddenly the classical music stopped and there was a ring - at last I was being connected to a person!! But, alas, there was no voice and the line was dead. My call was dropped.I have now called back (currently on hold for 50 minutes once again… and still counting). However I now intend to simply cancel my card and close my account once I do manage to speak with a live person.Bizarrely while on hold this second time you have sent me an email requesting feedback from the first time… the time you disconnected my call. How ironic.I’ve also been reading other customers’ feedback regarding Creation on Google Reviews and TrustPilot. Your customer service is dire! Amongst the worst scores and written feedback I have ever seen for any company!!

Absolutely disgusted. Adviser at Curry's assured they will run a soft search via Creation but now I find two hard searches on my credit report. They also denied me a tiny credit eventhough I have excellent credit score. They didn't even explain why credit was rejected. Adviser at Curry's said it is due to system error they are not being able to process my application. I bought item with full price. Wouldn't let them apply credit if I knew this was hard search.. I am processing my house purchase and this will impact me adversely.

I have had a Marriott credit card with Creation for a few years now. Never had a problem until recently. Their customer services are nearly non-existent, they don’t answer any emails or “secure messaging” and if you want to speak to a customer services rep, be prepared to be on hold for nearly an hour! I shall be cancelling my card and go with Amex (yes you have a yearly fee, but at least they help you with your queries!)

Just pay upfront if you can. Because I hadn't used the finance for a while, my bank had stopped payments, when I renewed it with a new item, and instead of getting in touch with me to let me know it had bounced (bank rejected), I ended up with the £30 charge which a few had mentioned. They said they have removed that and I have now paid in full. Not showing in my bank account as an outgoing payment so I am sceptical if they have even done anything. Just feels dodgy. I will go John Lewis going forward, their customer services are good and no doubt use a better company than Curry's for finance through Creation.

I have never had a problem with this company. They are very helpful and act promptly to all requests. Today I spoke with Kyle who was great. He listened to my request and provided the information within 10 minutes! Great customer service

Should be zero start rated. Took a finance deal for a washing machine over 3 months from Curry’s in good faith, thinking it’s Curry’s finance it’s fine. What a mistake. Took my payments then tried to take additional payments so I stopped the direct debit. Tried every means possible to contact them but get no response. Now getting letters threatening me with charges . I call to rectify the issue and guess what, on hold forever and still not rectified……. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever again. Sorry Curry’s never using you again either after this experience!

I have to say Creation Finance credit cards overall are pretty good, however forget it if you actually wish to speak to someone. I gave up waiting holding on the phone for 75 minutes. Yes I'm patient but really 75 minutes of inane and annoying messages turning my mind to jelly, and my will to desperation; eventually giving up as I could stand it no more.Creation sometimes a conversation is required and you should be able to provide thatClearly customer service is a concept you don't understand......and as such is something for which you should hang your heads in shame for.
