From the sublime to the ridiculous.I’ve been using their services for a few months now and was very impressed indeed with the service. So much so I’ve recommended them to all my friends and family. The lady with brown hair always addresses me by my first name when I arrive with a beautiful beaming smile and service second to none. I’m a loyal customer and weather I was looking to buy jewellery, pawn an item or apply for a loan they would always be my first port of call.I went in yesterday to do a buy back on my iPhone which I’ve done before and was very happy with everything however on this occasion a young gentleman served me and after inspecting my phone said he couldn’t help me as there was a small scratch on the back and they couldn’t sell it if I didn’t buy it back. I told him I’d bought the phone two weeks ago with said scratch and paid £320 and I was only looking to borrow £50. He flat refused to consider it so I asked if he could get a second opinion as this was ridiculous and made no sense. He went away, came straight back and with some delight and an infuriating smirk on his face told me they wouldn’t be able to help me today.I left the shop feeling frankly embarrassed and insulted as if I’d brought in some old junk and was perhaps trying my luck.Quite by chance I walked past cash brokers around the corner and reluctantly went in as I now felt I was peddling junk. To cut a long story short after 5 minutes I walked out with the cash no problem at all. This morning I went back to collect my phone and they rounded down my fee from £62.50 to £60. What a difference!!I won’t be using h&t’s services again or recommending them to anyone purely because of the insulting attitude of the “gentleman” who served me. If you’re looking for a buy back service look no further than cash brokers.

I would like to say how helpful Sonya in the Kingston branch is. She really is dedicated to customer satisfaction and knows her job role. The Kingston branch is a super friendly shop unlike the others I have used in the past. Avoid Sutton and Worcester park like the plague as the staff are hopeless. Kingston is the best 💁‍♀️

Recently bought an item from this store The lady who served me was polite and definitely knew her stuff. Will be going back at some point to get a neck chain keep up the good work

Went in and brought a ring, after taking a closer look after leaving the shop I saw it had been hollowed out and not of the best quality,I returned the ring later for the woman with blond hair to try and lecture me that diamonds need light behind them which is why it was hollowed. However many other diamond rings that I own are solid gold with no hollowing on the inner part of the band behind the diamonds and they are of a lot better quality.I'd steer clear of this place guys and go somewhere else, unless you want bullshit and patronising excuses!.

My Partner and I went in there to do a loan, my partner was asked a question by the blonde lady to which she gave an answer and the same question was repeated a further 5 or 6 times getting slower every time she asked it, as if we were stupid, however it didn't change the answer that we gave, just because she didn't like the answer doesn't mean it wasn't a valid answer. Felt humiliated by the way this woman treated us. It's bad enough that we had to go in and apply for a loan through them because of our circumstances, but to be treated like this is horrible.
