This establishment used to be there for the real people of wolverhamton and supported the most vulnerable in timed of need, THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE, it now only works for people with above perfect credit history even if you have been a loyal customer for a decade and never missed one loan repayment means nothing. The services provided to disabled and vulnerable customers is very concerning. THIS SO CALLED COMPANY USED THE COVID 19 AS A EXCUSE TO CUT ALL THE SERVICES IT ONCE PROVIDED. ITS ALL ABOUT PROFIT NOW. YOUR BETTER OFF WITH A BANK WHOS INTERESTS RATES NOT EXTORTION ON THE HARDWORKING PEOPLE OF WOLVERHAMPTON. 0 STARS
Very efficient. I have been a member of WCU for numerous years and I have to say I have always received an excellent service. Extremely helpful, so friendly and always try their best to help. During the pandemic and having to close they have made their process so much easier which works well for me. A big thumbs up
Credit union being closed is for best. Its a small building society that has a lot of customers and also received alot of visit daily.Their decision not to re open is in our best interest. Id rather continue with online banking an also believe credit union has actually been there for us and even offered loans despite the time scales of last loans.Credit union is still excellent in my eye's and i won't complain about phone lines as i understood that they receive sooo much calls and e-mails.I respect every member of staff and think they are awesome. Just wanted to mention that i really liked your e-mails during the lock downs.
I dont understand why you have an email and phone contact when none of them get answered. I have been trying to call and email for 2 days now and nothing not even a reply. Could someone please check emails.
I put in for a loan on Tuesday the 14th 2021, got accepted let them look at my online banking i was happy untill this point it was easy and quick to do. I emailed them because i could not get through on phone and i had a reply asking for all my details so i give them the next day. I have email them back 3 times not 1 reply i messaged them on Facebook and they told me to get intouch through email or try phoning them i can not get anywhere as they will not reply to my emails and they will not pick up the phone. They have let me down big time and im really not happy with them at all.
Poor service...wait ages for a response...I filled out an application online for a loan got accepted....did what they asked then eventually got back too me...to refuse me a loan...I've sent them the proof of acceptance and no one has bothered replying...no longer a union for people who need it!! They then ask you to save with them...not a change..Stick your loan where the sun don't shine..& everything else!! Never again will i darken your door 😡
Been with credit union for years without problems. Suddenly declined a loan without explanation. The service is no longer for the people, which is what previously made them great. Raised APR and lots of conditions in order to be accepted. After being a loyal customer for the best part of a decade it's very disappointing .You can't even talk to someone over the phone anymore and the office is still closed.
I've been a member for a good few years now and over this time I have found all the staff lovely and extremely helpful. Thankyou for all your help guys. Its so nice to be a member of WCU an it's great that you work for the people and not some profit making company that exploits some of the less fortunate in our society. Keep up the fab work
Poor service overall, no way to contact in a emergency, takes up to several weeks to reply to emails, has cut all services for the over a year and while all other Bank are reopening WCCU continues to stay closed whilst still using Covid-19 as a excuse to stay shut. During all lockdowns have been closed without any other ways to contact other than email, which clearly discriminates against people unable to email no alternative contact methods available. No out of hours service, no extra support for vulnerable people, extortionate apr rates for people who depended on there services the most. This is no long the Credit Union it once was, since the new chief executive has been involved its gone down hill.
